Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), has announced the examination results measure up to the fourth grade with a negative result many students have failed in the subject of English to 65.67 percent in the exams held in late 2015.
Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), has announced the examination results measure up to the fourth grade with a negative result many students have failed in the subject of English to 65.67 percent in the exams held in late 2015.
Announcing the results yesterday in Dar es Salaam, the Executive Secretary of the Council, Dr. Charles drum has said deliberate efforts are needed in improving teaching and learning in order to improve the pass rate.
A total of 869,057 students between 977,886 equivalent to 88.87 percent who did the testing have been scored in classes A, B, C, and D. Students 108,829 equivalent per limia11.13 have received unsatisfactory scores.
In addition students have done better in the study of science for 89.44 percent, and the council limewataka teachers put more emphasis on students who did wrong to help them improve and be able to get good performance.
